Quit Kodi on LibreELEC

For the setup I have build it is required that Kodi can be quit without shutting the system down. But even if you enable the corresponsing button in the advancedsettings.xml with showexitbutton, it will not work, either will other ways to trigger a quit, e.g. from the mobile app.

What must be done to allow Kodi to be quited?

That could be an idea but my targeted use case would be to use it from the automatic quit by CEC, so a simple menu item etc wouls not work.

In the mean time I have investigated the Libreelec code and it is indeed not possible to stop kodi from the inner because the corresponding event is simply ignored.
