Stop switching my tv to standby

  • Hi,

After using LibreELEC on my first generation Raspberry Pi, I tell it to switch off (using Kodi remote app on my Android device). When it does that, my tv switches to standby too, but I don't usually want that. How can I stop this?
My tv doesn't switch to standby when I switch off my Bluray player, Playstation or Xbox, so I'm pretty sure it's something LibreELEC specific. I haven't been able to find an option in the menu's to stop this behaviour though. Switching HDMI inputs on the tv doesn't do anything either.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Best regards,

    Michael

  • Turn off cec on the pi.
System > system > input > peripherals > cec adapter

Thanks for your quick reply. I'll give that a try and let you know how it goes.

Well, it works! Just set it to not suspend the tv on shutdown, left the rest as it is. Would never have found that under "Input", so thanks for pointing me there!
