Video stopped abruptly with no apparent reason

    I was watching a movie when the video suddenly stopped way before it was supposed to end then took me back to the home menu. Now, the video is showed as not finished but i can't watch it further than the timecode where it always stops. I have no idea of the reason why.

    Probably something in the file or encoding that causes the decoder to fault. You can re-rip the file from the original source with different settings, or perhaps run the current rip through handbrake to re-encode and hopefully normalise whatever the glitch is.
