USB Wlan device lost after reboot, RPI3, latest NIGHTLY LE12

Hello,

when I configure an external USB Wlan dongle with the latest NIGHTLY build LE12 RPI3, it is not recognized after reboot. The LED is on, but I have to re-plug it to see it in the network device list.

Congrets for the LE12. The first usable build for the older RPIs for a long time.

Hi, when I had exactly the same issue (wasn't with LE12 - but now I'm using Rpi3B + USB-Wifi + LE12 and no issues), was because of the power source...

There are no issues with LE11, only LE12. I tested it on 2 different RPIs, it is not an power supply problem.

I noticed that the USB WLAN comes up with wlan2, the internal wlan with wlan0.

You can disable the internal wifi if you add this to config.txt dtoverlay=disable-wifi

A quick test was successful. The USB WLAN is now wlan0 and is connected automatically.
