Tanix TX9 (S912)

Hello, I am trying to install 10.95 on Tanix TX9 pro with SD card. Libreelec loads, but I have problems with original remote control - it is not working. It works onli my TV remote trough hdmi CEC.

And the other thing I am getting all the time popup windows with:

- storage mounted

- storage removed

So Libreelec is not working…Is it working on Tanix TX9. I used https://releases.libreelec.tv/LibreELEC-AMLG…95.0-box.img.gz with menson db tree. I tried with q200 and q201 db tree. Not working on both. Tried with different SD card - nothing helps…

Does anybody knows, what could be wrong ?

The remote will not work unless:

a) the remote keymap is added to the kernel and a custom device tree created to reference that IR keymap

b) you manually add the keymap, see: https://wiki.libreelec.tv/configuration/…ration-advanced

Normally users need to figure out the keymap first (B), then share it, then I can think about creating a custom device-tree file (A).

It sounds like Kodi is otherwise running .. which means the box is working. Please SSH to the box, run "pastekodi" and share the URL.

I got bored in my lunch hour so this image has a device-tree for tx9-pro which uses the IR remote from tx3-mini .. if you have the larger Tanix remote with numbers on it those won't work and you'll need to capture the key codes for me. I've also added something for the clock on the front, which might work if it's the same type as the TX3-mini box. If not the same, it might show nothing or garbage.

I came home for few hours. Tried.

One time it loaded Libreelec, remote didnt worked. Clock on display is working.

All the time I have popup window with Storage removed, Storage mounted, Storage removed...

I tried to manage network, then I restarted it. Now is stuck on KODI logo and I cannot get in Libreelec anymore...

Create a clean SD card from the same image. Set the DTB name in uEnv.ini and add "ssh" in the boot params ^ (beware the forum is wrapping lines - it should all be one line). This forces SSH to start, even if the GUI doesn't come up etc.

Then login over SSH and run "pastekodi" and share the URL so I can see the boot log (and what's going on with the mount/unmount).

I took this LE version "LibreELEC-AMLGX.aarch64-11.80.0-box.img.gz" from here https://chewitt.libreelec.tv/testing/
This is the right LE for the Tanix TX9 (S912), right?
Which .dtb file should be selected and how to get the remote working?

No idea. You'll need to experiment with the available device-trees and see what works.
