another atmos trueHD sound drop issue.

  • Hi, I have currently buyed a intel GEN12 cpu, with intigrated GPU (Intel Core i5-12500 CPU)

(i currently have installed latest nightly build LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-11.0-nightly-20230103-6ece247.img.gz (sha256))

I have read all issue about other people have issue with atmos truehd sound drop, and the case is said to have been solved in kodi.

But I stil experience issue with this on linux based installations. (only working installations to make this work flawlessly is unfortantly windows)

I did try HTPC Plex on a ubuntu installations, and experience the same drop on sound there to, so I does not blame it on kodi to be the problem, I think this is stil a driver issue on linux based system for this gen12 intel gpu.

I know I dont have put any debug log in here, but dont see the point of doing it becouse we will not get anything good out of it.

Can also add that, if I set the FPS to 60Hz, the sound drop dissapear, but movies are not smoot play anymore..

My questions is, have anyone else with same intel cpu/gpu have same issue, and found out a sollutions on this issue?

  • This problem can be set to solved, I did finaly find a solutions im happy with. I was a setting on my Denon so the atmos problem on linux based system went away, i know this is just a work arround, but im prety sure one day this will be fixed on linux to. So if someone else wonder, and have Denon amplifyer, goto Denons Setup / Video / 4K/8K Signal Format and change the format from "Enhanced" to "Standard".
