[SOLVED] Audio issues

  • I'm having audio issues with Libreelec. Here is my setup.

I have a Raspberry Pi 2, connected via HDMI to an HDMI audio extractor. At the audio extractor, the HDMI continues to a projector, and the audio is connected via optical cable to a set of Logitech Z-5500 speakers. In the audio settings, I have passthrough checked, and I have tried HDMI, HDMI/Analogue and Anologue only. Interestingly, if I try to toggle the DSP setting, Kodi crashes. Withing the DSP audio, I have the free DSP engine.

    System sounds work normally.

When a video starts playing, Kodi crashes. I'm convinced it is audio because if I choose bluetooth audio, the video plays fine, but no audio (of course, because it is disabled).

I recently switched to Libreelec from Xbian, where this setup was working.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks.

  • I'm not sure what happened, whether it was my millionth reboot, or an update that got pushed, but sound is now working and Kodi has stopped crashing on playing a video. I guess it was FBFM.
