Is there a way to upgrade from Tvheadend Server 4.2 to 4.3 (Alpha) on LibreELEC 10.0.2 and preserve the configuration (including existing recordings)?
How do you upgrade from Tvheadend 4.2 to 4.3 (Alpha) and preserve your configuration?

In general, both Tvheadend Server Addons 4.2 and 4.3 have their own folder so the settings are independent as well.
You can install both versions at the same time but always have only one of them enabled.
You may perhaps copy the configuration files from 4.2 to 4.3 but I did not try it so no experience to share...

- disable both addons, copy the userdata from 4.2 to 4.3
- enable 4.3 and hope it works
its 50:50 if it works or not, you can also just transfer part of the config, for example just copy over the channel and mux config
