I recently installed libreelec on a gmk nucbox (intel celeron j4125) for use with the nextpvr pvr-addin and the colors are washed out. It works fine in kodi on a windows 11 pc. thanks

GMK says this in their advertisement: "Note: Do not install ubuntu and Linux systems unless absolutely necessary."

a quick search in the INet resulted in "your box has a very low powered GPU".
anyway, I would try nightly: newer GPU driver for Intel GPU's and hopefully for yours too.

yup nightly is 11 and the addon for it are 10.80.4
