raspberry pi B+ v 1.2 remain in rainbow screen at startup

    I use librelec 9.2.8 on my raspberry pi B v.1.1 and it works correctly.

    When I try the same SD on pi B+ v1.2 the system does not boot and remain on rainbow screen. Red light on, green light off.

    Power is at 3A (throw microUSB). I test the raspberry B+ installing raspberry OS and it works.

    I try to check firmware and bootloader version and it seem to be at the last version (the command rpi-update return that the firmware is up to date).

    I try to reinstall libreelec from scratch using PI imager 1.6.2 and I have the same situation: on B v1.1 non problem; on B+ v1.2 no boot (rainbow screen).

    I try also other release 9.x.x and 8.2.4 and I have the same situation.

    I try to reinstall from scratch using Librelec USB-SD Creator and I have the same situation.

    Where is the problem ? Why the same SD does not work on B+ ?

    is libreelec compatible with raspy B+?

    I have exactly the same problem. Tried few different boards and SD cards. At the same time Raspbian SD card works perfectly.

    My mistake. I was trying to use RPi2 image for PI 1 B+
