/storage folder full

I just installed 'LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-7.0.2' on an 8GB sd card using 'LibreElec USB-SD Creator' and the storage folder seems to have only 27MB available as shown in the attachment.

The partition on the sd card are Fat16(536MB) and ExtFS4(7.51GB)

Any idea on why Libreelec is not using the free 7.51GB space for storage? and is it possible to map the /storage folder to the 7.51GB partition?

Thanks for your reply. So I tried multiple fresh installs and i always let it boot normally. Same outcome though everytime.

just for the record .... I used a Sandisk SD card using the exact same process as opposed to a cheaper SD card that I have been using before and it worked like a charm !!

Steps taken to install (might be relevant for other users):

1. Format SD to FAT using MAC's Disk Utility
2. Extract LibreELEC image to SD card using LibreELEC USB-SD Creator
3. Insert SD card in RP and boot
4. LibreELEC will resize the partition accordingly on first boot
