I had the same problem as kopeyka posted at No Audio and Video freezes 5 seconds into it, and he/she found the answer:
Step 1: Change Output to PULSE: Default, Bluetooth Audio (PULSEAUDIO)
Step 2: Run pactl load-module module-udev-detect command - this got the sound working and video does't stall anymore.
Step 3: Add that line to Autostart.sh
I discovered that in Step 1, changing to analog sound also worked, but the sound will not go thru an HDMI cable to a TV.
In Step 2, I don't know where to enter the script, or how to add that line in Autostart.sh in Step 3. Can someone please advise me as a newbie?
Also, when I use an HDMI cable to connect my laptop to a TV or monitor, it only occupies half the screen. How can I fix this? I hope the developers can resolve the sound/video freezing issue permanently.
