LIRC homebrew receiver

Hi all,

on my old yaVDR system Lirc is working with those two files in etc/lirc

hardware.conf

lircd.conf

I'm a bit lost what to do for LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.97.1.img.gz

We use the more modern in-kernel IR decoding, see our wiki for more info: https://wiki.libreelec.tv/configuration/ir-remotes

As you seem to be using an older IR receiver on the PC's serial port you have to manually disable the UART and load the serial_ir module as described eg here: Problems with lirc serial and autostart.sh
