A new beginner in ELEC which is a really amazing OS for the TV.
I want to [DISABLE] the default sharing of external HDD in SMB as I don't want to expose the whole drive to outside but only a real video path.
I edited the smb confg file in ~/.configs but there are always whole HDD in the SMB sharing.

Thank you for your reply. While I cannot find the "disable drive sharing" in the Services->Samba, there are only "Group, WINS Server ... etc.".

Yeah. Thanks. While as I replied in #3, there are only options which have no relation to the which-path-will-be-showed options.
If you look in Kodi settings you will see SMB "client" settings. If you look in the LE settings add-on (also referred to in post #4) under services you will find the Samba "server" settings where there is definitely an "Auto-Share External Drives" option. You're looking at client settings.
