Hi there, I've been using Kodi for many years, but only once in a while I've come across the problem of lacking the option of UPnP playback to other media renderers and never really missed it that much.. I know it's now possible to send individual items to media renderer via context menu, but now I was asked to find a player that would start a random playback (in "party mode" or internet radio) after it has been powered on to another renderer (that does nothing else and is always on).
Building a RPi with LE would otherwise be a perfect solution, I just don't know it's really possible to achieve this, I've searched for many hours but couldn't find much..
It doesn't even have to be automatic, if I could just manually switch the audio output to UPnP as "permanent" for anything that's playing back after it has been launched would be great enough.. Any addons that could do this? Any advice is very appreciated.
