Can't get Kore to find my media center

I'm running a Pi with LE 9.2.6 and Kodi 18.9. Since the most recent update I've been unable to get Kore on my Samsung S8+ to connect to the media center. I discovered that when I try to ping the Pi from the S8+ I get a connection timeout. Curiously, I can ping from my other Linux boxes and Windows boxes on the network, both wired and wifi connected. FWIW, the Pi is part of the wired network. The port setting is at 8080, I've got all the remote control setting on. I guess I'm puzzled as to why only the phone would not be able to ping the Pi.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I feel like a dope. It turns out I had wifi off on my phone. I turned it on and everything works fine.
