Lost Network Connection

Hi All,

New to the forum but I'm in need of help please.

I have a Rasp Pi 4 which I use in the bedroom with Libreelec on it to stream from my Windows 10 based PC downstairs. Both systems are running Kodi Leia and have been working great for months but when I came to stream a film the other night it advises there is no network connection to my TV & FILM files on the PC.

- Nothing has changed on the network settings

- Kodi is always running on the Windows "server" downstairs

- Checked the connection to the router with both machines and they are fine.

I feel it's something to do with the SMB setting but seen as I haven't changed anything and it's been working brilliant for ages I'm at a bit of a loss what could have caused the change?

Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

New to Libreelec on a pi 4 too coming from PI 3 and OSMC. I end up having to restart the pi manually to reconnect.

If a restart will reconnect you, then it's not the settings.

Any updates on the Windows server lately? Perhaps SMBv1 has not been disabled, and SMBv2 has taken over.

It does reconnect, I made a change to the power settings, I thought I turned off the shutdown settings, but shutdown does not stop the fan. Anyway so I made a few changes and will report back if it resolves my issue.
