RPI 4 - No audio through HDMI only Analogue works.

  • Hi

I've installed recently a SDCard which i know works with latest LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-9.2.6.img that's here.

Issue is that i cant seem to get anykind of sound pushed through the HDMI (The HDMI works, due to my SSD got RetroPie installed and sound's pushing through that. And KODI works as a port with using the ALSA codec/driver for audio (PI: HDMI doesnt work on the RetroPie KODI port) )

I've tried the analogue output and sound is coming through there. I'm using the closest HDMI port to the power input aswell so there's no issues there. Hardware wise everything is working fine and dandy!

I've tried with adding hdmi_drive=2 aswell but that didnt help nothing.

Throughput didnt help at all either, and all the settings are defaulted/shrug

    Under Audio devices there's:
    1. PI: HDMI

    2. PI: Analogue

    3. PI: HDMI & Analogue

    4. Bluetooth

I'm at my wits end right now!

On my RPI 2 it worked without any issues

EDIT: NVM. It was an brainfart from my part, when using the NesPI 4 Case the HDMI1 is the closest to the power input and not HDMI0. So now it's connected to HDMI0 and all things good : )

    Marking this one as resolved
