I'm rather new to this but I tried setting up a kodi box for the first time and I'm having some issues when trying to watch video playback. I'm using version 9.2.5 on a raspberry pi 4 4GB. Trying to watch anything is next to impossible as I'm getting constant stuttering/hitching any time I try to watch something. It only seems to have issues when I try and watch on my TV though. If I output to my computer monitor everything works fine and dandy but as soon as I switch it to my TV, I get constant stuttering which leads me to believe there must be something with the resolution settings that's causing things to go crazy but I can't figure out what it might be or how to solve the issue

There are two settings in Kodi in the Settings/Player/Videos/Playback to start with:
- Adjust display refresh rate
- Sync playback to display
For PC monitors, only the 2nd one is applicable.
For a TV, the 1st one applicable and possibly the 2nd as well.
Also providing Kodi's log file is always helpful.
Please provide a full debug log.How to post a log (wiki)1. Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging2. Restart Kodi3. Replicate the problem4. Generate a log URL (do not post/upload logs to the forum)
use "Settings > LibreELEC > System > Paste system logs" or run "pastekodi" over SSH, then post the URL link
