Hi all.
This issue is specifically in regards to the 2019 Beatles Abbey Road Blu-ray with very a high bitrate Atmos track (>16mb/s).
Playing from Synology NAS (SMB share) over GB LAN on NUC7i3 (LE 9.2.3).
It's a full BD rip with menus etc. (not an ISO file). The accompanying DTS-HD MA & PCM tracks play fine, but as soon as I switch to Atmos, the tracks start/stop/buffer.
Things I've tried unsuccessfully:
Ripping individual tracks to MKV & playing over LAN & USB (2.0).
Playing via NFS share.
Adjusting network settings in the advancedsettings.xml (as per Kodi Wiki).
The only other file I have with a similar bitrate is a BD rip of Akira which has a 5.1 True-HD track that maxes out at 13.9 mb/s, & that plays fine.
Interestingly, my 10+ year old Windows desktop Kodi setup plays the BD folder fine with no buffering, but the ripped MKV versions will buffer. Playing the MKVs with VLC or Potplayer works flawlessly.
I apologize if this is all as clear as mud & I apologize for not including a log file (never tried pulling up one of those before).
This is the first time LE has ever not 'just worked' for me, so any insight or help would be greatly appreciated
