Slow WIFI speed on NUC

I have wifi speed problem with libreelec 9.2.1 installed on NUC model NUC8i3BEH the maximum speed I'm getting is 1.2M. I tried the wired ethernet and it worked fine I was able to reach my 4M internet bandwidth. I disabled wifi in the Bios and plugged an external USB wifi and it also worked well. Are there any settings I can adjust to fix the built in wifi throughput?

This seems to be a common problem with built-in wifi.

As a rule software cannot fix a hardware problem. Most internal antennae are an afterthought. Connecting a proper external antenna will fix reception issues, but that probably requires a dremel and some handicraft on the NUC case
