I have a laptop with HDMI output, the problem is that the screen has broken. My idea has been to install LibreElec and connect it to the TV. But once installed, the screen is black and I don't know how to configure it without seeing anything.

This hardware situation has some unknown factors. I suggest to try a full desktop Linux first (like Ubuntu on DVD or USB stick). If such Linux is HDMI-visible (maybe only in Live mode for testing), then you have a chance to install LE.
