Dear LibreELEC Developers,
In the proces of getting rid of my Windows 7 based HTPC which uses a MCE Receiver and Remote the following is missing on my current Kubuntu 19.04 install : EventLIRCd 
After examining LibreELEC carefully (have it running on the old Intel NUC 2820FYKH which has a CIR port on the front) it seems I am missing EventLIRCd to do the following :
- Make sure the MCE Receiver is always correctly recognized via the same Event ID via UDEV.
- Translating some keypresses that the Kernel system and irkeytable don't process correctly into the right ones.
So can someone please tell me how I could "port" EventLIRCd to Kubuntu or any other Linux distro in general ?
And which source should I use ?
