64-bit or 32-bit version of LibreELEC SD Card installation media?

Hi, I have been using a RPi2 for some time now and am planning to buy a new RPi4.

I believe the RPi4 is now 64-bit which is different from previous 32-bit models. Is that correct?

I was wondering if I should download and install the 64-bit version of LibreELEC SD Card installation media.

Is that a better option than 32-bit? Would I notice any difference in performance?

That is only the installer tool. There is no 64bit version of the LibreELEC application for the time being.
