Just reloaded LibreElec 8.04 v on an Odroid C1+. Tried to add TV Shows and the TVDB info is not accurate whatsoever. Just random. Was using Openelec on same box last week and it worked fine.

Thanks. I did not realize MovieDB was the scraper of choice now. Anyways, TVDB ascribes Formula One info to Any Griffith Show and MovieDB connects "A Season with Navy Football" to it. I have not changed my source files. I am adding the overall show file as source. Episodes are group by Season sub folders. This worked before. I am using SMB sources from a NAS.
Found more info after some testing:
If I add overall TV show folder as source, the scraper scans are wacky.
If I add TV show subfolder (i.e - Season 1) as source, I see it scan every episode, but nothing shows up in TV Shows page. No info, no art - nothing.
Using MovieDB and the scans send message "cannot reach server" a couple of times during scan. If using TVDB, this does not happen.

Well got a Firestick 4k and loaded Kodi. Same issues. Is using SMB file sources the possible problem? Anyone out there? lol

SMB networking and TVDB scraping are two totally different things.
The F1 Show is better off at TVDB, it scrapes fine there.
Everything else: no debug log file => nothing to investigate.
