UI aspect ratio with RPi on 4:3 screen

    Hello,

    the aspect ratio quadrangle in video settings is perfect square, but my LibreElec UI is laterally compressed. Please note the egg-shaped / oval buttons on screen bottom. The movie itself is displayed correctly.

    During boot already the LibreElec splash screen is deformed.

    LibreElec 9.2, Kodi 18.4

    Hardware: RPi 1, 3, 4, Zero W tested with same results

    Screen: 4:3 1280x1024 PC Monitor, connected from RPi via HDMI-DVI cable or HDMI-VGA Adapter with same results.

    Any ideas?

    I don't see any 4:3 settings in the addon.xml file for the Confluence skin, so it's possible that only the 16:9 aspect is currently supported.

    Try and test the default Estuary skin instead.

    In this file now I changed the aspect from "16:9" to "4:3" and the height from "720" to "1024" (regardless, that the Confluence is 720 only) and the buttons are circular now.
