Power Down DVB- Card on RPI

    A question to RPI users:

    Is there any power management to automatically unload the DVB-USB when it is not in use?
    I just plan to change my HTPC setup to use an RPI instead of ASUS AT5ION


    Background:
    - RPI should run 24/7
    - TVHeadend running as backend
    - DVB- USB should be in standby when it is not in use (Live TV or record)
    - DVB type is "technisat cablestar Combo USB" (power consumption with separate power supply >10W)
