Intel NUC 2820 and mce_kbd

  • Hi everybody,

first off, thanks for all the work and effort you guys put into Libreelec.
It is the perfect OS for my needs.

    Now to my problem:
I found a post on the kodi forums where a logitech harmony remote is programmed with 2 devices, MCE Keyboard and Windows Mediacenter SE.

Sending keyboard keys with my harmony remote would improve my current setup because until now I repurposed some unused buttons through a custom keymap to use functions that are available for keyboard as built-in commands (toggle watched/unwatched for example).

I'm using libreelec 7.90.006 alpha running on an Intel NUC 2820.

The Windows Mediacenter SE remote buttons are working as expected but keyboard keys are not recognized.
I've run ir-keytable which shows that mce_kbd ist supported but not enabled.
Is this my problem and if so, how can I enable the mce_kbd protocol?

  • Not the answer to your question, but for info, the Intel NUC is in the logitech database.
