Can any1 tell me what to do to windows 10 to allow kodi to read libreelec mediaserver?

I have libreelec on a pi3 as my mediaserver. Have a pi3 with libreelec and 2 laptops running xubuntu, and all can find the mediaserver. Room mate has windows 10 and i installed kodi but it refuses to see the libreelec server. I have searched all over and found 20 dif ways to fix this and none work. If any1 here could tell me how or direct me to a howto fix windows (besides delete and install linux) I would be greatly appreciative.

I apologize for being windows dumb, I havent used it in 12 yrs and all i do is get mad trying to figure out things on it.

Win10 requires an authenticated connection so you will need to set a Samba password in LE settings. The samba server is using SMB2/3 so you will need to manually configure the LE source in the Win10 Kodi instance via hostname or IP (and user/pass).
