Hi,
In the file config.txt file referrals to OpenElec still exist. Not really a bug, also not necessary to let LibreElec function correctly. However, for the sake of perfectionism, nice to update to LibreElec :D.

could you be a bit more specific where ?
LibreELEC.tv/config.txt at master · LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv · GitHub this ?

Yep, that's the file I meant

I also confirm this behaviour
I have upgraded lately from OE 6.0.3 to LE 7.0.2 on RBi B+ using tar upgrade method. Yesterday RPi 3 came to me so I made an upgrade again as LE wiki advises. All went quite fine, the system boots up and shows COnfluence as it should. No I'm discovering how it works
And after above upgrades are made I have config.txt from OE 6.0.3
thanks to this my HiFiBerry Digi+ worked OOTB
not sure what else did not get upgraded

This is normal. If you migrate from OE your existing config.txt is not touched to ensure any customisations you made (e.g. overlays) are retained. If you clean install LE the config.txt file will only have references to LE.
