Ras Pi3 : bluetooth adapter not found

  • Good day

Kind of a newbie but I shifted from osmc to last version of Librelec and so far so good until I found out three issues.

The main one is related to the bluetooth (which is of course enable in the libreElec settings)

Connected to my wifi logitech headset, all seems to work but after 10 to 15 mins, sound stops (but the led of the headset is still on like it was connected) and when I check back the settings of the libreElec, I have the following message :

    No bluetooth adapter found

If I reboot my rasp, the bt is back for 10 mins and loops back to the error mentioned above.

    I use a rasp 3 b+ with latest version of libreElec.(9.0.1)

If you have some ideas, please let me know.

Thanks to all of you for your help,

    BVIman

  • BT is never very good at the best of times, doubly so if using the RPI internal chip. I think you'd benefit from a decent BT dongle rather than relying on the internal BT.

Just to check, can you after a number of issues.

Please provide a full debug log.

How to post a log (wiki)

    1. Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging
    2. Restart Kodi
    3. Replicate the problem
    4. Generate a log URL (do not post/upload logs to the forum)

use "Settings > LibreELEC > System > Paste system logs" or run "pastekodi" over SSH, then post the URL link

Also post the URL from dmesg | paste
