Bad audio on Passthrough & PCM Audio with RX550 on LE9.1

Hi There,

I recently upgraded the GPU in my HTPC to a AMD RX550 and updated LE to 9.1 however I now have major Audio issues. The HTPC is on a passthrough on my AV Amp (Yamaha RX-A3070) then to my TV (Sony KD55XD9305)

If I try to play a film with the Audio passthrough on the sound is very glitchy and cuts on and off, if I turn audio passthrough off and revert to PCM the audio works but is very distored and noisey, if i have the GUI sounds on then they also echo. It seams to play DTS HD better than Dolby True HD but both are poor

The audio settings on Kodi show i have 6 audios outs, 5X HDMI numbered 0 to 4 and a pulse default bluetooth audio however i only have 1 HDMI on my GPU. the HDMI labeled #3 shows as HDA ATI, SNY SONY TV *02 on HDMI #3 and is the only output i get any sound on (so i have selected it as my GUI & Passthrough audio out).

I have looked at the thread you directed me to and posted the same info there however there was no resolution to that thread either.
