I have had a working OpenELEC PXE Boot install with multiple clients for several years. Now I would like to switch to LibreELEC. I understand in a typical "local" installation, you can upgrade in place by dropping the LE image into the Update folder, but in PXE Boot the client can't write back to where the kernel and system files are stored...
If I just edit the TFTP config files (I use separate ones for each client), pointing them to the new LE kernel and system (and md5) files, will this constitute an "upgrade" or am I better to wipe the clients and do a clean install?
Basically asking if anything in the OE install would be better to be removed. There are no add-ons installed and this is OE 6.0.3 to LE 7.0.3.
