RPi - prevent automatic TV power on

    Hello,

    I am facing an issue with my installation of LibreElec on RPI-2B.

    The RPi is rebooting from time to time (I suspect SD card) but otherwise Kodi is working fine.

    As the issue is quite rare, it is not too much of a hassle... but the reboot of the RPi causes the TV to switch on.

    So I find sometimes the TV powered on since I don't know when.

    So here is my inquiry (to fix the effect not the root issue) : is there a way to prevent the RPi from sending power on commands to the TV (without disabling hdmi-cec completely) ?

    (the Samsung TV is quite old and do not offer me a lot of options)

    You can cherry-pick the RPi's CEC options via the System / System / Input / Peripherals, and so on.

    Whether the Samsung TV is obeying the settings is another matter. Each TV manufacturer seems to have its own ideas of how CEC is supposed to operate.
