Trying to install onto an M.2 SSD - Installer will not start

I have created a USB installer and it boots just fine using the "Live" option but if I simply leave it, or type "run" or "installer" I just get a black screen.

What am I doing wrong?

Apologies for that.

I have now worked out what was happening. As I am using a graphics card in my build the installer seems to default to to the output of the motherboard HDMI socket, and therefore when I plugged my cable into there I was able to continue with the installation. Once the install completed I could swap the cable back to the graphics card and it worked as expected.
