tvheadend server on pi3+ for DIGIBIT R1 SATIP server

Hi,

well, I tried several instructions, but wasn´t successfill yet! Here´s the problem. I try to setup a SATIP server (Digibit R1) on HTS Tvheadend 4.2.6-7 ~ LibreELEC Tvh-addon v8.2.113. The SATIP adapter is listed under TV Adapters. I setup a network ASTRA 19.2, add the network to each SATIP tuner/position. One mux is automatically generated but no further muxes are found. The mux tells error under search! No services are found. Is there a detailed step-by-step how-to somewhere. I tried several ways, but obviously I´m missing some impoortant steps! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Several LE staff have R1's and I have fuzzy memory of team chat discussing an unofficial firmware for the R1 boxes which addresses a bunch of issues with the official one. I think this is the source (from one of the TVH devs): GitHub - perexg/satip-axe: A custom firmware with minisatip for Inverto IDL-400s/Grundig GSS.BOX/Telestar Digibit R1 but Google for satip-axe and Digitbit R1 and you'll find more info on what it solves.

you basically just want this if you have problems with artefacts at your stream

the default firmware is good enough too for the most cases

Did you setup your R1 correctly at the R1 firmware web admin ?

Did you tried if it works with windows ? DVBViewer Lite (free) that should work ootb at Windows setup_satip.zip

You should try to verify that it works with DVBViewer - it is the easiest failure proof solution for a quick test.

Hi, thanks for your answers. I‘ m using the R1 already with satip Apps on Tablets. It‘ s running with the Original FW quite OK. I now want to add a PI3 with LE to a TV. Therefore, I installed the TVH server on the LE PI. On the Web Fronten dir recgnizes the R1 with its four Tuners. Unfortunately, I cant get them Running on the TVH Server.

Hugh, not sure whats wrong here. Could you paste the service log from \\ipofyourdevice\userdata\service.tvheadend42\service.log?

You can confirm that all tuners are working at the R1 and you have all 4 cables connected?

The R1 is working properly with several apps. It is found in my network. I´ve attached only one cable as this is a unicable configuration with 4 different frequencies.

I´m not sure how to download the log file from the Pi server. I cannot connect to the network share \\ipofyourdevice\userdata\. The web frontend is accesible, of course.

fixed, the Sat>Ip timeout at the sat>ip server was at 10 instead default 30-60 -> tvh aborted the connection
