SimpleIPTV Client and HLS streams over wireless with random freezing

    Hello,

    I would like to know, how HLS streaming works with SimpleIPTV client. I know the basics of HLS it is just that some things does not add up. I am pushing HLS streams through a wireless network (6 wireless hops) and it happens that it randomly freezes for up to 20 seconds and than starts to play again. The playlist is 30 seconds long composed of 5 6sec long streams. A simple test like taking out lan cable from device S905x plays current stream for approx 6 more seconds and then it stops. What are my options to extend this "buffer" to the whole playlist length? Do you have a better idea?

    Kodi 17.6 Git a9a7a20

    As LE 8 (Kodi 17) is now frozen, you will need to confirm that the issue exists in 8.90.003 (Kodi 18) otherwise there is no point debugging your issue.
