Do I need a fresh install of LibreELEC if I change boxes?

I have an no brand H96 Pro+ 2G/16G, blue PCB. It was good running LibreELEC on an SDCard.

Untill I flashed it a custimized ROM witch is for Alfawise H96 Pro+ 3G.

And it dead. I tried the short pin way, but I failed to find any ROMs for 2G version. Those 3G ROMs just keep it cold.

So I purchased an Alfawise H96 Pro+ 3G/16G, green PCB.

I changed the "device tree" file to 3G version, gxm_q200_3g.dtb. And it won't boot.

Even refused to light the power LED up.

Well, the internal ROM dese not work well, too. (Freeze at anywhere, any time)

I am connecting to the support to look for an exchange.

My question is, is that enough to change the device tree only if I move the SDCard form a 2G blue PCB H96 pro+ to a three 3G green PCB H96 pro+?

Should work - I have several S905, S905x and S905w boxes and can swap the SD card around just by replacing the dtb.img file on the root of the SD card.
