when i try to build for x86_64 on debain buster the build fails right at the beginning with the following error:

Thread model: posix
gcc version 7.3.0 (Debian 7.3.0-16)as a (dirty) workaround i built the first part on linux mint 18.3 , then compiles almost to the end up to this quemu-error on this debian release.
any idea/workaround?
