DVBLink fails to load on reboot

  • Hi, hope someone can help. This is not a major issue, but, irritating none the less. I have LibreELEC Version 8.2.2 (RPi2.arm) running successfully on a Raspberry Pi3. One of my installed plugins (DVBLink PVR Client Version 3.4.5.1) from DVBLogic fails to load when I reboot the the device. I get a generic error saying "Add-on couldn't be Loaded. An unknown error has occured."

If I click OK to clear the error and then go to "Settings -> Add-ons -> PVR Clients and select the "DVBLink PVR Client" and click on update, I'm prompted to select the version (3.4.5.1) from the LibreELEC Add-ons repository which when selected the plug-in bursts into life after saying it has downloaded 1% and all is OK until the next reboot.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Sorry to dig up old threads, but I also have this issue.

To work around after a boot:

    Settings > Add-ons > PVR Clients > DVBLink

Then go to 'Server Address' which appears blank.

When clicked, the original setting appears, go to OK

    Confirm Settings

    Disable

    Enable

    Voila, the plugin loads.

This is very annoying, but I guess it is a plugin issue? Why would KODI or the plugin not retain the settings?
