vpn setup libreelec n00b (vpn unlimited)

Hi there

Yesterday I set up the Libreelec installation on my Raspberry Pi 1 and I really like how it works.
But I have a question concerning the VPN settings. I already searched the web, this forum and tries multiple instructions from the internet but i'm kind of lost.

I want to setup a VPN connection to my VPN unlimited (thats the brand) subscription.
From them I got PPTP settings which work (and I got OpenVPN files .ovpn).

Can you please help me with instructions on how to configure Libreelec to use a VPN connection?

Install this addon and configure vpn-unlimited:

I've tried to install the repo or the latest file but it doesn't show up after entering the URL's. How did you get the VPN setup in Libreelec?
