I am running LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.0-Milhouse-20171201210309 on x86 since yesterday and figured that the parport_pc kernel driver seems not to be available. It would be a nice feature to include parallel port support on x86 generic to perform simple tasks such as switching an external audio amplifier on sleep/resume (similar to what can be done with GPIO on the raspberry PI platform).
