Clean install of LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.2.0 and it got stuck at cursor on black screen.

Hello Gentlemen,

I did a clean install of LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.2.0 on my desktop pc and it got stuck after LibreELEC splash with the mouse cursor on a black screen.

Just for your information, LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-7.0.3 is running okay, no big issues.

Please, find attached the log files related to Generic.x86_64-8.2.0 (LibreELEC splash with the mouse cursor on a black screen) and Generic.x86_64-7.0.3 (Running Okay).

I also attached some information related to the hardware of my desktop pc.

Could you please help me how to solve this issue.

Your PC is too old. Get a new one

(specificall you graphics card, it came out in 2005. It's time to upgrade)

Yes, this is an old desktop pc but still running... It´s like Porto Wine...Older is much better!!!

For your information, this pc has Linux Mint Mate 18.2 Sonya as OS installed and is doing good.

Kodi 17.5 for linux was installed on this old pc and kodi is running fine, no big issues, no hardware problems, no graphic card complaints !!!

It doesn't have any hardware accelerated video decode at all. 1080P is a no op. 720P is probably difficult also.

LE deliberately targets current/recent generation hardware and we have no interest in supporting 2005 era things. I'm surprised it even worked in our 7.0 release. Your solution is to run ^ Kodi 17.5 on Linux Mint .. or stick with LE 7.0.3.
