Installed LibreElec successfully, on first boot though all I get is a black screen with "LibreELEC (official): 8.1.2". Any help?
This is on an old PC, not Raspberry Pi.

Most likely your graphics card isn't supported
What hardware is it exactly?

AMD Radeon HD 5750
AMD Triple Core processor.
Perhaps I should try removing GPU and booting using the onboard graphics?

Update: this did let the OS boot properly, thanks!
Now, if I wanted to add a supported GPU how would I go about that - is there a method to download updated drivers?

No. All the usual drivers are onboard. If you want to add more drivers, then you will need to recompile LibreELEC.
Which onboard GPU do you have?
