maximum version

    Hi guys,

    i own a old Dell C521 pc in combination with a amd 5450 videocard.

    i always was using openelec (kodi 15).

    i'm trying to install libreelec now so i made a usb with version 8.1.2

    i get the following error code:

    Failed to start xorg server.

    after some googling it seems my videocard is not supported for newer versions??

    how can i find out till what version i can go on this videocard.

    or is there a workaround to get it working?

    Yeah, "AMD" is likely the biggest problem here, next to the "old" problem. It has been an love/hate thing for some 8 years now, there never has been a consistent driver support for AMD video cards.

    I'd keep using openelec kodi 15 if that works.
