Poor SD-image quality since v6.90.005

Hi there,

i switched from OE to LE on three raspberry 3 and i think it's the right decision. Since the last update to v6.90.005 i've a poor image-quality with PVR sd-material. Everything was fine with v6.90.004. The picture stutters and seems to have more pixels. It's comparable to the picture quality without enabled mpeg-license. Unfortunately it's licensed. Any idea?

I started debugging and i saw hat the framerate switches steadily between 15fps and 37fps...... i synchronized the display framerate rate in the settings-menu and the image-quality seems to be ok now. I never synchronized the framerate before and don't need it in 6.90.004.... hmmm.......... what is the difference between those versions that causes this new behaviour?
