Major difference in WiFi speed: LE/Kodi

I have a BeeLink mxiii s905. Today I ran a speed test on the Kodi and LE installs and was surprised to see that the LE, DL speed, was approximately 23mbps, where the same test on Kodi was only 8mbps. What would explain the disparity?

Kodi running on Android can only use SMB1 and Kodi in current beta versions of LE (and most community created builds) is capable of using SMB3 which brings a considerable performance increase and fewer security issues.

I was referring to an Ookla internet speed test. Is smb a factor in those results?

☺️Yes, wifi speed results on same box (BeeLink mini mxiii), dual-boot, LE vs Android. Why the different results?
