Passthrough is enabled, disabled AC3 transcode - PCM sound received on my receiver for IPTV. And there is no problem with DD video files.

Passthrough is enabled, enabled AC3 transcode - DD5.1 and DD2.0 is ok on my receiver. BUT there are distorted sound, crackle for the first 30-60 seconds and audio sync problem from 1st minute or after 30-60 minutes.
If I press "O", it showes that audio is AC3.
This can be repeated for any IPTV channel with DD sound.
Is it possible to use Dolby Digital passthrough without transcoding AC3 to AC3 on IPTV channels?
Libreelec 8.1.6 for S905/S912
P.S.: Leia build on my windows PC doesn't have same issue. May be it's possible to compile pvr IPTV simple addon with latest changes in 8.2 LE builds?

Anybody enabled passthrough, disabled AC3 transcode, Can get DD5.1 or DD2.0 in live tv ?, For me ,still PCM (C2: 8.1.1-8.1.5) , press "O", showes t the audio is AC3.

I have periodically picture freeze on H265 livetv video from 1 to 3-4 seconds.

3.14.29 in no way identifies kernel git revision, it is a base for all S9xx Amlogic kernels.
Could you give me a command to identify this revision?

Yes, Kodi uses HW-accelerated decoding on my S912 Android, also in other players h265 picture looks good

I don't have the possibility to check 8.0.x versions right now, may be somebody else can do this

If it really is OK on Android for S912 - maybe there is a way to port HEVC decoding parameters/settings etc. to S905 and LibreELEC for both?
If somebody knows what parameter do we need than I can check their values in my Android

I also checked with Android and the issue is also present in Android. I'm afraid this means that it can only be fixed by Amlogic.
But I don't have this issue in Android for S912, looks like this is some parameter in system

Until the value is 0 it works as 0. It doesn't matter if you resume the video again.
But after reboot it's 1 by default and 0 if you add it in autostart.sh

Does that mean high frame rates are needed to see this?
95% of my content is 23.976 fps...You can change this parameter in real time and check if you need it.
With value 0 picture will be sharper with 1 it will be smoother(by default). Ghosting and smearing is visible not for all content, but sharpness is different for this values.

I never saw those kinds of issues and to be honest, after putting this line in the autostart.sh and rebooting, I don't see any difference...
Do you maybe know a good sample where you can see this ghosting/smearing easily?
I would like to compare and see for myself...Better sample is any active sport LiveTV channel with moving camera.

he kszaq when i use IPTV simple client in your builds i dont see channel groups and when i use SPMC with IPTV simple client i do see channel groups.... can this be fixed or do i have to change settings?
settings-> TV settings-> general, and turn on "sync channels groups with server" and restart kodi
