Hello Everyone!
First of all, thanks for keeping the Docker add-on updated!
But I'm afraid, that with version 12.2.0.3, though you updated to Docker version 28.5.2, you might have missed the important security updates for runc version 1.3.3.
Running docker version still shows:

With runc at version 1.3.2, which doesn't have the security fixes included.
Hope this helps...

Any plans to upgrade Docker to 28.3.x in LE12?
Regards! -
Thanks for the infos!

Hello!
I forgot to ask one more question: Would it be a big problem to include the docker-buildx and docker-compose plugins with the addon?
These two have been pretty much the standard for building and orchestrating for a while...
Regards again! -
Hi Everyone!
I'm very sorry for being a nuisance again, but I would like to ask, if there are any plans for updating the Docker version used in the plugin?
Since version 27.1.2, there have been six new releases (IICC), including the first one with a maximum API version change (27.0.0 with API 1.47).
Docker is now at version 27.4.1 and there have been a few annoying bugs fixed (most notably https://github.com/moby/moby/pull/49079 recently).
As I mentioned before (RE: Docker Add-on Version), I'm sorry but I don't have the resources to build my own version.
Thanks in advance and keep up the good work! -
Thanks for the offer, but atm I don't have the resources (or infrastructure) to build and test binary system addons myself.
I'm very sorry.
But I just noticed that version12.0.0.1 has Docker 26.1.3 installed! It just updated itself about an hour ago.
Thank You All! -
Sorry to bother again 😉
May I know, what the plans for the Docker addon are?
The docker version from the addon is now at 26.0.2. That's four releases (26.1.0 - 26.1.3) behind the official docker version.
Will the addon be updated regularly? Or only on major releases?
Thank you and regards! -

Hi!
Still no plans to upgrade the Docker version for LE 11? Meanwhile, Docker is on 25.03.
There have been some important security fixes (https://github.com/moby/moby/releases/tag/v25.0.2) and some very useful additions (e.g. https://github.com/moby/moby/pull/40894) to the latest releases.
Or is LE 12 really on your horizon?
Regards! -
heitbaum , thanks for the information!

Yeah. That's why I asked, if there are there any plans to update the Docker add-on to 24.x.x before the release of LE12?
Regards and Merry Christmas!

Hi!
Just out of curiosity: are there any plans to update the Docker add-on to 24.x.x before the release of LE12?
My RasPi OS Docker installations are all at 24.0.7 while LE11 is still at 23.0.6.
It's not a big deal, but I find https://github.com/docker/cli/pull/4073 especially useful, not to mention all the security fixes 😉
Regards and keep up the good work!
