official image yes, but not if you update with "apt-get dist-upgrade)" there is 4.9.24.

i can try with rpi-update as well... but as i said for me the raspbian build works fine...

Today i did some further testing:

all tested with DVB-S Astra 19.2E - RTL2 Austria (SD Channel), MMAL Advanced Deinterlacer

With kernel 4.8 (and older) there is no such issue.

tried different HD Channels with MMAL-advanced, all of them worked aswell!

I've just tried with Raspbian Pixel jessie (official image):

no problem at all, DVB-S with DVB-Sky960CI running smoothly, no artefacts visible!

Any news about this issue?

I've got the same issue with Rpi3 and dvb Sky S960-CI
Today i tried the 8.0.0 kernel 4.8.13 with mb.. still conituity counter errors. The build without media_build works fine for me.

at my tv only the channels on 1 mux had problems... Astra 19.2E - 12226.5 H
